Jilin Huaqiao Foreign Languages Institute, or Huawai is located in Changchun, China which offers following language courses----English, Spanish, German, French, Russian, Japanese, and Korean, Italian, and Portuguese providing intensive training in a particular language, its literature and culture. Apart from these foreign languages, Chinese (Mandarin) language and culture courses are offered for international students. Presently, it has over 6, 500 students and 500 full-time faculty members that include 46 international teachers from all over the world. Huawai is authorized to issue bachelor's degrees by the State Ministry of Education, the first private language college to be awarded so in China. As one of the most selective private colleges in the nation, Huawai aspires to serve as a bridge to the younger generation, allowing them to cross and assimilate Chinese and Western cultures, and thus becoming an integral part of the world at large. Our aim is to carve a niche in the international academic community. We pride ourselves with a beautiful campus and advanced teaching and residential facilities. Part of the College's endeavor is to foster international relations with other colleges and universities, by way of teacher, student or research exchange programs. As we continue to grow, we require around 50 academic professional positions each year.
